KRIEGELSTEIN GRAND PIANO, PARIS, 1855
Splendid inlaid piano which corresponds to the description given in the cataloque of the Paris World Exhibition of 1855 'an inlaid grand piano, small size by J.G. Kriegelstein'. The date matches and the quality of the multi-coloured marquetry is worthy of an exhibition. It is one of the most beautiful examples of Art-Case from the great era and a unique testimony to the craftsmanship of the time.
